Ms. Chen graduated from Wuhan University with an LL.B. in International Law in 2000, obtained an LL.M. in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University in 2003, and obtained an LL.M. in Admiralty Law from Tulane University in the United States in 2007.
Ms. Chen has many years of experience in domestic and international law firms and in-house legal departments. She has led legal affairs for the China operations of several Fortune 500 companies, represented companies in commercial and contract negotiations for major and complex projects including airports, data centres and offshore oil exploration and development, coordinated dispute resolution, and planned and delivered data and business compliance reviews and training.
Principal practice areas: corporate and commercial law, maritime and admiralty law, telecommunications, data protection and cybersecurity.
